Boise Weekly - Idaho’s Only Alternative: BW Beat: BW Beat: North Idaho Dem leaves log cabin for Lush
Ok I know I said I was going to try and control my cynicism, but I can’t resist myself. Honestly I don’t care about the LGBT issue. What does concern me?
“Bonner County legislative candidate C.J. Rose has never been to Boise. The soon-to-be-61-year-old retired teacher lives in a log cabin near Spirit Lake. She heats and cooks with wood. She has to drive to town for mail and a cell signal.”
“Rose hopes to bring diversity to Boise, but not just the sexual orientation kind. She is rural. She is a Democrat.”
So the diversity is that she’s a Dem? We got everything else.
Not to worry, Tac, it’s just a very, very, very, very, very slow time for Boise Weakly, perhaps?
You can sense why the word “alternative” doesn’t really impute virtue. Only being “different” is the lowest common denominator in our society.
I’ll presume that the absence my comment regarding appropriateness of this post for the Boise tech community & incomplete quoting is related to a bug in your blog software. You might want to fix that, or you’ll lose a reader who’s influential with respect to a large tech company increasing its Boise staff.
Wade I have been having problems with WordPress (probably has something to do with being moved to about 5 different servers over the last year. But my technical ineptness has little to do with the fact that for some reason this comment showed up in my Akismet filter. I’m assuming I inadvertently deleted your last one (since Akismet is usually really good and I get tired of wading through the pages of spam comments for the occasional missed comment and just hit delete all after the first page) please feel free to resubmit your last comment.
