Unless you’re not really an entrepreneur… (And even if you’re not… PLEASE pass this along!

The time has come to start seriously thinking about a “trade association” for Idaho innovators. Mark October 11 on your calendar, 10am-3pm, Riverside Doubletree.

This is for entrepreneurs by entrepreneurs. If you are not private sector **, you can attend but you might get seriously bored. (You know I love bottom-up, grassroots development - this is one of those!)

Form Follows Function: The key to 21st century economic development is to focus on what needs to be done, not the institutions. This meeting builds on the statewide survey about gaps in the innovation lifecycle here in Idaho and will work toward identifying the functions that a state organization needs to address. Only then will attention turn to what form it should take. A most entrepreneurial approach, eh?
