I hope you have a chance to read this before tonight's TechBoise event. (Tonight at 5:30 at the WaterCooler - Link to map.)  For those of you subscribed via email you'll get this late, sorry.

Tonight we have no speakers but we have come up with a theme:

Make an Unreasonable Request

What, exactly, is an Unreasonable Request? Well it's basically what it sounds like. Not an Inappropriate Request mind you, but an unreasonable one.

The Occupational Adventure blog has a description of what it is but to quote:

Every week, she makes at least five unreasonable requests. Requests she has no business making, and that people or companies have no realistic reason to say yes to. She figures that one in ten of those comes to fruition. So once every other week there's a good chance that something off the radar screen cool (like interviewing Guy Kawasaki for her blog) is likely to pop up.

We will have a pad with paper for you to write you Unreasonable Request down on when you come in. Who know's maybe Santa Claus will be there tonight.

Aside from the event I think that in this market people are very willing to help each other they just may not be able to do that financially but they are willing to help out in other ways.

If you can't make the event but would still like to make an Unreasonable Request of the TechBoise readership leave it in the comments.

It never hurts to ask.
