Folks, this is a “Pasteur” bill…
This is a “big ‘un” indeed - tons for STEM education, more for NIST ,etc. Lucky for us, eh?
But in talking with some wonk types (e.g., research dir at NFIB) H2272/S761 is a “Pasteur” bill — as in
“Chance favors only the prepared mind.”
We need to get going full speed on getting mechanisms into place ASAP to get after that STEM money, especially for K-12 and community colleges (which theoretically should play to our advantage).
Tac & Nic- could we create a forum on here to share ideas on what we need to be focusing on?
