Tsheets getting new media coverage
This week will probably be, Meridian based, Tsheets biggest server load week yet.
On Monday Tsheets was featured in TechCrunch. For those not in the Web 2.0 media world, TechCrunch is the Web startup version of the Wall Street Journal. It’s a pretty big deal.
This resulted in a several thousand unique visitors and over 100 new customers in one day. The story was covering the fact that Tsheets has a new iPhone specific application (great PR timing on that one). Matt tells me that the Tsheets app will be available in Apple’s new iPhone SDK store.
Tsheets is now also integrated with Jott, which converts voice, email and SMS into simple text reminders and appointments. This means that with Tsheets you can simply call or text time sheet updates as well as access them via your mobile phones browser.
If that’s not enough coverage, Robert Scoble, who is a new media force unto himself, is interviewing Matt Rissell on Fast Company’s WorkFast.tv this Friday at 11:00 am MST. WorkFast.tv covers the rapid changes that are happening in the way knowledge workers work. If you take an early lunch you can watch Matt and Robert live.
Matt also told me that his personal blog will be going live this Friday, although there is already one *interesting* obviously unedited, video already up there. Matt’s blog is going to be dedicated to helping other small business owners.
Way to go Matt and team.
